HARTLAND, WI (January 5, 2014) - Chef Michael Feker’s newest culinary child, Zesti Eatery, opened its doors with a global celebration of flavors on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 130 E. Capitol Drive in Hartland, Wis. Flavor moments were shared as Chef Feker featured his newest creations from Zesti’s worldly inspired menu. As well, flamenco guitarist, Robert E. Clum, provided the entertainment. The invitation-only event was scheduled 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Zesti opened to the public for lunch on Tuesday, January 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and resumed regular dining hours on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.)

Celebrity Chef Michael Feker spent his entire life curating flavors from around the world, and now he is transforming those flavor moments into a dining experience for Southeastern Wisconsin. Chef Feker was inspired to feature those flavors, textures, colors, and cultures at Zesti as a showcase of his culinary career.

“The grand opening was intended to be a celebration of the cultures that make up my soul & the soul of Zesti,” says Chef Feker, owner and head chef at Zesti in Hartland and IL MITO in Wauwatosa. “I want to share my experiences with the Lake Country, from the food to wine to the music, everything that gives life and passion to the places I have visited.”

Some of the cultures that you will be traveling to via Zesti’s flavor train will include Iran, Lebanon, Turkey, Asia, France, Italy, and Greece, to name a few. Each menu item is based on a “Flavor Moment” that inspired Chef Feker while visiting that country.
